I think this is what you got after a big radio like Come & Get It and nice radio hit like Slow Down. Plus, the buzz media she is getting and she is all over internet, there is interest on this song. Why would he sing a song past its peak instead of a song that's achieving something truly remarkable in this day and age? I would love this release to get to 3 million, but 800.000 more copies is a lot. He will get a boost from the CMAs, the AMAs, and maybe the Grammys, but I feel certain he will probably release a new CD around the time Crash My Party reaches 2.5 million.

I wish Carrie Underwood had won Female Vocalist of the Year at the CMAs. She has a better voice that Miranda Lambert's. I wonder if Miranda keeps getting the award because her music is more traditional Country, whereas Carrie has more Pop influences in her hits so she can get airplay at AC and Adult Top 40 (and with her latest song, Christian radio).

Country music block votes. If you're in, you're in. If you're out, you're out. Blake and Miranda win every year even when they do nothing now simply because they have a lot of ties to the inside. Carrie won for a while because she had some ties and her talent is simply leagues above the rest of the rest of the competition. Unless she gets based back in Nashville, country awards shows are basically a no-go for her. She's not bothered since she gave Miranda her highest first week sales though
