She made this big cultural shift in the digital era with 212. I still remember everyone at school repeating the "I guess that c*nt gettin eaten" line repeatedly. I even went out and purchased a Mickey Mouse sweater to resemble and everyone knew how she was my idol.
Then she released the rest of the 1991 EP and it was a completely new style

I remember hosting a party and CRANKING Esta Noche, and people asking me for a USB of Fantasea to put onto their laptops. She had this unique and just wicked and weird vibe to her.
The constant delays, messy releases, twitter feuds, and just overall mess. She was the LAUGHING STOCK of everything. She was constantly being made fun off, people saying she was over, her opportunity missed, everything ruined. Then, she releases this f**king album and has everyone at their feet. Seriously, the CHART SUCCESS she is getting for someone of her relevancy. She even has a spot at the EMA's (MAYBE i will believe it when i see it)
I LOVED how NOT once she changed her personality. She kept her out spoken attitude. She not once changed her musical style even though that resulted her in not having any label to back her up. She believed in her own craft, then went with it. She is my inspiration. To follow your dreams
