MusiCharts are estimates too Mediatraffic estimates are considered more accurate and that is what I/people on here use. And chartnews is not late, they update the numbers every time a new chart comes out.

When did I say MediaTraffic numbers are correct?

And what makes you think MusicChart nmbrs are correct?

They are both just estimates. But majority of ATRL prefers MediaTraffic and that's why the thread title won't be updated.

ChartNews is NEVER late . Seconds after Billboard publishes the nmbrs he tweets them. It's a HARD job, to tweet so many information as he has to calculate the total sales and put them in brackets. So he might be sometimes a few minutes behind Billboard/MediaTraffic.

See, but the Platinum certification is US-only. ARTPOP could sell 30 million outside of the US, it won't be Platinum until it hits 1 million in the US.

Gaga could technically pull a Britney and just buy a certification just like it was done with Femme Fatale, which sold around ARTPOP's numbers but was still certified Platinum.
