I reckon some of the major artists will set up their own rival to Spotify where they offer exclusive streaming of their music and in return get a higher royalty revenue than Spotify offers.

Spotify needs the major artists more than they need Spotify.

"All About That Bass" has a chance to tie "Blurred Lines" # of weeks at #1 then, well at least SIO hit #1, I love both songs so no problem.

This is the payment that an indie artist receives for his music thanks to streaming, try to feed your kids with that 1 dollar check from spotify.

Before you embarrass yourself even further (probably too late), I should just post this link about how 21 was not on Spotify cos Adele did not want it available to be streamed for free.

Plus Beyonce album is not available on Spotify. Oh what fools Taylor, Beyonce and Adele are. No-one will ever buy their albums without every listening to it first on Spotify.

I am sure it is just a coincidence that they are the three highest selling female album artists in recent years.
