Lady Gaga @ladygaga
@RealLindaPerry you are a tremendous inspiration to me & to people all over the world for writing music like that. We are the grateful ones
Gaga needs to work with established artists on her next album.
If she really wants to do a rock album, she needs to work with established rock artists. That way, rock fans could possibility be more interested in her album.
The What's Up? cover Precisely the rock she should be making. I'd like to hear some Alanis influences as well, and Beatles and Elton.
Honestly this would put her back on the map quality-wise, and I definitely think, if she maybe wrote with Linda or Glen Ballard, could spin an alternative rock sound into a top 3 smash, if not number one.

I have always said it, a rock album with a production like Minutes To Midnight by Linkin Park or This Is War by 30 Seconds To Mars would be PERFECT for Gaga.
She would have so many anthemic songs this way
But I bet she's going for the outdated rock sound that nobody listens to anymore
I don't want her to go rock The only rock music I like is Paramore (is that even rock ) and 30STM And well some exceptions but I don't remember them right now
It seems to me like she'll go for a halfway point between 90s alternative pop-rock scene (Alanis Morrisette, Oasis, 4 Non Blondes/Linda Perry, No Doubt) and psychedelic glam-rock (Bowie, The Beatles, a lot of her songs with Fusari are also influenced by this).
I also think there will be electronic influences but it'll be a electronic inspired rock album rather than a rock inspired electronic album - which is what Born This Way was.

As a Taylor stan, you should be fine. As a country singer, a lot of her songs are rock inspired, and you're probably imagining she'll be doing heavy metal or screamo, but she won't.
It's her next major release, she won't alienate even more people. The rock she makes will be accessible to pop fans.

If she's going for a Bowie, The Beatles, No Doubt, etc, route, it would be great.
And if she serves me another BTW Her best album.

I think it'll definitely be a lot more organic, since Born This Way isn't really rock. But yeah, it'll have that same raw, nostalgic feel that makes Born This Way so damn perfect.

Rock is a very wide genre.
All these songs are labelled as rock, and I'd love Gaga to do songs like that.
Tbh I don't know much about rock music expect the "most known songs".
If her next album is truly a rock album, it's gonna be interesting.
