I'm sad she is losing this record tho. Taylor is already crossing the 1.3m mark, her team is flawless, they'll make sure she gets the record;
I'm happy it's Taylor taking it not the likes of Beyonce, Gaga, etc, Taylor stans won't be cocky, they'll be happy their fave got the record, but for their part it won't be personal.
And lastly, Adele power is highly overrated in this forum, she'll probably be another Susan Boyle/Norah Jones, with one mega-album and the others performing worse than it.

I find it particularly funny that whenever someone tries to bring anything Janet in a negative perspective or say how she's been behind Madonna in terms of impact or acknowledgement, they'll always bring Britney saying how much she's been influenced by Janet, but due to her being white, she's been more compared to Madonna.
