And its not like she aint doing pop anymore or that she did pop once, pop has been an influence in her work since her debut album. Pink Friday has alot of pop influences, several songs can be classified hip hop/pop songs. Pop will always be a part of her, you all thought in 2013 she would never go back to pop or anything near pop, then PNP happen, then Bang Bang happen, then David Guetta collab happen..
It shouldnt matter if you prefer Hip hop Nicki or pop Nicki, we all are Nicki Minaj fans no matter what, and nobody is considering better than the other. If you prefer pop over hip hop Nicki, there is nothing wrong with it and should not ever be.
Going platinum isn't that hard to achieve. Nicki just threw it in the garbage when she changed the release date.
