Something I've always hated is the song choices. Literally no one gives a **** for these songs from 50 years ago. You're looking for a popstar in 2014, not 1984. Only 3 of those songs (out of 11) were released in the last 10 years. They always claim they are looking for a recording artist or a world-class star. The songs should fit them correctly then. Stop trying to appease the old grandmothers watching (since they're all watching Strictly now anyway) and make 75% of the songs at least this century. Kthx.

Cheryl is normally great because she'll pick current song choices for her contestants; Lauren - Happy (2013/2014), Let It Go (2013), Dark Horse (2014) - obviously What a Feeling was for 80s Week so... The others are normally ancient; especially Louis but he's like 120 years old.

How is Stereo Kicks song fitting with the theme? I don't agree with the "dated song" rant if the song is good, it doesn't matter whether it's old or new.

Thriller is much better for Fleur, it's not as predictable as Disturbia was. Hope she does it justice since it's so iconic. I can see Jack's performance be a bit forgettable in the sea of crazy performances and powerhouse vocals. OTY could really have a moment if they slay it as much as they did in that YouTube performance.

I don't think this is good. The lyrics make it very hard to establish themselves as a unique boyband.
