Fair enough but you mean to tell me with the advance on social media we can't show these little black girls anything else. We have to just sit here and act like if hollywood isn't showing us anything all hope is lost.
We can't show them the Naomi Campbells, Alek Wek's and Iman's who have been beauty symbols for decades. We can't instill in them pride african movies that anoint s many dark women as beautiful. Other dark skinned women breaking barriers in industries outside of hollywood.
Yes the media is powerful I will never deny that but that doesn't mean there are a lack of several examples to show.

And who are you to control their hair and state when it is not enough?? You should be redirecting more of that anger towards the society that enforces us all to conform somewhat to their standards.
