We should just rename the base to "Lightning Bolt Rock Star"
Considering some stans honestly had a bigger meltdown over the base being named 'GaGa' (coming in here and insulting me personally, etc.) than they did in the HDD thread on Artpop's first weeks sales, I don't think that is a good idea.

Nope, you got it all wrong as to what I was saying and you are wrong about ARTPOP. But let's just move on. It ain't gonna get solved by us.
Ramus is right in a sense. People were here for Applause and DWUW but they just weren't here for the rest of the album + Gaga's messiness throughout the era and that's all there is to it. All she needs to do is release better music and people will buy it, simple as that.
Promo wasn't that good worldwide though. I've had people ask me why Gaga doesn't make music anymore because they literally weren't aware of ARTPOP's existence. Promo was good in the US and the UK so there's no excuse for those places but it was non existent everywhere else.
I like that Gaga is branded 'rock star' while certain other girls are seen as 'pop stars'. Nothing wrong with the latter, but Gaga is so much more than a package served to us that is worked on and written by 20 other people behind the scenes.
She really is like a rock star making pop music. I'm glad this base aren't the only ones recognising it anymore.
