I saw that video I was there the night before, and if she had done it while I was present, I damn near would have fainted. And the way she makes it sound so effortless.

Cheek to Cheek has helped improve her vocals so much. Not that they were in any way bad before, but now they are on another level.

This fanbase is so incredibly entitled at times. We need to be GRATEFUL for the things going well with Gaga at the moment:

- She actually was able to release an album this year - some artists can't do that
- The album charted decently and is selling well - considering the poor state the industry is in
- She is pulling off amazing performances and her jazz vocals are gorgeous
- She is HAPPY and HEALTHY, which we all need to appreciate

There are some fanbases that have it a lot worse than we do, some people's faves are going through bad times, like Kesha's, or their fave is being forced to do things they don't want to, like Britney, or their albums have been complete failures like Nicole ****ing Scherzinger's.

APPRECIATE all the things that are going well and stop being so hung up on the mess that happened a year ago. The ARTPOP era did not go as planned, now GET OVER IT.

"The music isn't as good!"
"I hate DJ White Shadow!"
"Where is the DWUW video?"

Hmm.. I don't know, when I first listened to 'ARTPOP' I was terribly happy. She delivered for me, I was like "Man, she really did it this time", musically, she took notes from previous failures and brought a colorful, bold, varied, very melodic album. Of course, I cannot deny how sad it feels to look at the terrible promotion that went through this era, way worse than 'Born This Way'. However, that doesn't stop me from playing her pop jewels from 'ARTPOP' and enjoying the hell out of them.

I mean, honestly, this. ARTPOP has some of my favourite Gaga songs and artRAVE has made me appreciate it a hell of a lot more.

I just think Born This Way is a better album, and a better realised concept. But ARTPOP could have been a well thought out, realised concept too. This didn't happen, but that's not Gaga's fault.

The quadruple punch of Aura - Venus - G.U.Y. - Sexxx Dreams is too much to handle. And the Dope trilogy (Mary Jane Holland - Dope - Gypsy) should have been another ARTPOP film That would've slayed.

They both have retro/R&B influence, but that sound was all over radio in 2013.
