1989 is a repeat of what Taylor is used to seeing first week. Her fan base never fails to give her impressive sales, but does that make it more impressive than BEYONCE? No, it doesn't.
Beyoncé came out of the blue with her most controversial album and went on to sell 2M in the first month without a proper physical release.There's no way any Swiftie can relate to the feeling the hive had 12/13/13.

Hell, if Self Titled was actually PG rated and GP friendly like 1989, it would of done even better, but no, Beyoncé managed to do very well regardless of its explicit/mature message.
