I will clear this mess up as someone who lives in singapore.
Initially she was booked for half the stadium but due to the pitch having issues they moved the stage all the way forward so that the stage wasn't on the pitch. The organisers and the goverment I think made this decision. She initially was mean to play a bigger setting.
The actual sales I think was 15k? Anyway the arena in our country can only hold 9-11k for concerts so ofc she did a bigger venue.

And as previously stated, the WTA finals were in the arena so she had no choice for venue anyways

the seating was horrible due to the reconstruction of the stadium, so many audience complained that they can't see the stage, even they can't see the screen
