This song and video is awful. Is 1D management really that oblivious that they think this is actually "epic"? All of them are extremely weird and awkward in the video and everything seems forced. If i was 1D i would fire my music video producers and directors. 1D is over and done with. On to the next one....or break up and start solo careers.
Do you think these guys have an opinion on their videos, music or anything???. 1D are just five "pretty" faces, nothing more.
This is when hopefully the realisation kicks in that they were utterly dumb to promote 5SOS so heavily. Not that 5SOS will ever be in their league of success(check all the stats) but it still took focus away from 1D and made them look more soft and poppy in comparison.
But they now have millions more money than anybody on atrl so don't be too snearing. Like I said, theyre probably exhausted by it all right now anyways. Theyre still young, good looking and megarich.
The thing is, the song is actually pretty good, but this video is awful and honestly pretty much just the same video that they did for Midnight Memories and Best Song Ever.
They aren't promoting this new single at all and unless they plan to start doing heavy promotion from now until the album drops, I don't see them having the kind of numbers people expect them to pull.
Midnight Memories (album) is honestly a really strong pop/rock album and should have had 5 or 6 singles. If they didn't have to push albums out every year and could have promoted, I'm telling you, so many songs could have gone at least top5.
I think that they are mostly done tbh (sadly). 5SOS was the worst thing they could have done honestly. My sister LOVED 1D since they first popped up, but ever since she discovered 5 Seconds of ****, she does not care about 1D at all. 5 Seconds of **** has been her gateway towards pop punk, she is all about Fall Out Boy, All Time Low and New Found Glory now. 1D really shot themselves in the foot with that one.
I also think they are over now because Harry and the boys (Except prince Niall) all went overboard with the tattoos and look like drug dealers now (I think they look fine, but the GP aren't here for it).
Album sales isn't even really their forte anymore.
Well thats yet to be proven. Their last album sold over 4 million which is Eminem territory. 5SOS, their nearest rivals, won't get much more than a million.

Theyre not gonna have 5 smashes from an album. Their albums sell very fast. So by time they get to the 3rd or 4th single the fans will already have those songs.

I don't even like 1D and I agree this is true. MM is an amazing, full quality album. So many potential smashes on it.
