It's 2014 Sis . It would've been so Easy for her to Shift Album copies if it was 2012/2011 . Fancy would've been 6xPlat right now & TNC would be around 700k . Sales Climate has changed drastically + Shes new ! she doesn't have a dedicated fanbase .

What I love about Iggy: She doesn't give any ****s about the stuff people are talking about her. She made the most of her situation and nobody can take that away from her. She released a killer-debut with a handful of BOPS and with her re-release she will make sure to leave her mark. Female-Rap/Hip-Hop came back thanks to Onika but Iggy is serving a different demography. She created timeless songs like "Work" (still mad this didn't receive the acclaim and success It deserves), "Change your life" (perfect 90's throwback-track) and "New Bitch" (one of the best "album-tracks" ever...)

Also: Her videography is ON POINT (minus the slow-motion mess that is Black Widow, though)

People will ALWAYS find a reason to hate on someone or someone's work but 2014 will be remembered as Iggy's year. She'll receive a Grammy and a shitload of other awards. "The new classic" is diverse, full of bops, not-so-serious but still a milestone in female-rap history. "Fancy" will be remembered as a "classic" in 10-15 years. She owned 2014. A white chick from Australia. Hate on her as much as you want but in the end of the day she's getting these coins. As a person she's not that interesting but as an artist she's entertaining and that's what It's all about. "Reclassified" will do well and her sophomore will smash. All that "It-girl 2014"-talk is cute and all but she came to stay.

Hi.

On that post, I will say 2014 has def. been Iggy's year, but I don't think TNC will be remembered as much as you guys think it will. While it did spawn so great hit singles, the album itself lacks a lot of truly classic hip hop elements. And her rereleasing the album so quickly, within a year of the debut is also very strange. I wish she would have gave more attention to songs like 100, Goddess, and Impossible is Nothing.
