Yeah, I still haven't gotten mine and I am almost two years in
I really need to get them before I finish my gap year
The only reason I went for my license is because it was about to expire and I didn't want to renew it I got my L's on my 18th and I'm just about to turn 21
congrats
i failed the first time cause as i was turning out of the parking spot i scraped the car next to me
while doing the 3 point turn i turned the steering wheel too quickly and accidentally hit the windscreen wipper so i freaked out and tried correcting it but moved the wrong one so then the left indicator was blinking then in a big fuss i stalled and yet i passed with only 1 minor, for braking too late
I love Jessica Mauboy. I've liked every one of her eras. 'Been Waiting' was basically her 'Teenage Dream', just flawless. Flawless album, flawless singles, flawless everything. 'Get 'Em Girls' was cute. 'Beautiful' SLAYS lives. TTEOTE and Beautiful did NOT deserve to flop. Beautiful is one of my favourite Jess tracks ever. Plus, let's not forget the promo smashes Something's Got A Hold On Me, Sea Of Flags and I Believe - Anything Is Possible. Can I Get A Moment? slays too and I hope it smashes here.
I used to kind of liked Delta (my mum loved her) but she seemed really crap on The Voice tbh, made me dislike her. I used SOTOTW and Heart Hypnotic (that one especially) but DWABH was trash and I can't remember what her album sounded like.
Haven't heard Dami's album yet but enjoyed the singles and love Living Dangerously.
Havana Brown's album was a bit eh but her WTLGO EP was ****ing FIRE.
Ricki-Lee is one of my faves, tbh. IDK why people don't like her. Fear & Freedom was an AMAZING pop record, and DTIR is probably even better. She really delivered on this one. I still need to listen to the record more, but it's good a good balance of the upbeat pop tracks and some slower ones. Only You is my absolute FAVE tho.
Samantha Jade needs to release her album like a year ago. But it's coming next year (allegedly) so I can't wait for thaT.
Sheppard just performed on Ellen there are so many Aussie acts taking off in the US atm. Alternative radio are loving Riptide and that Milky Joy song. All 3 are awful tbh.

!!!
All ****ing trash. And yet Ricki-Lee, Jessica Mauboy, Samantha Jade, Dami Im etc. can all barely get hits in Australia, let alone internationally. It's ****ing dumb. Now's the time to break through, pop girls are slaying the US rn!

yeah it was an immediate fail lmao
at least you passed tho
one of the reasons my friend failed was cause it was raining and she didn't have the windscreen wipers on fast enough They'll be the death of all of us

Honestly, I don't think our girls are much better... Ricki-Lee finally got her sh** together a couple of years ago but I haven't heard a single thing about her new album which is weird. Jessica is the only one to have brought out quality music but she isn't developing or turning into more of a star, which Guy Sebastian is doing at the very least. Samantha is a good songwriter (I think? Idk that much about her) but her music is average and her style is typical Australian wannabe like Ricki. Dami has managed to get good radio hits that are a bit Perry-ish but her style is awful and her music doesn't seem to be quality either. Australian pop music in general is mediocre to me, not just the girls
Iz anyone suprised tho, Bar the good sis Delta and Smantha Jades Soilder everything is mediocre. Males are especially mediocre, don't even get me started on Justice Crew or Reece Mastin
Oh dear...sis I like you but you are so wrong for this
My friends and I will occasionally just sing "watcha get em girl, I'mma swing my hips this wayyyy" randomly and in a completely ironic way. And then one of us will just burst out with "HIIIIGGGHHHH HEELS ARE EVERY WOMAN'S DREAAMMMM."
It's seriously the worst. The video The ****ing video A Rude Boy tryhard mess.
That being said, Burn is amazing. So is the OFM remix of What Happened to Us:
As is the Sgt Slick remix of What Happened To Us...but I can't find that on Youtube. It's only on iTunes.
Delta in her first few years was great. Success, individuality, quality (cheesy but undeniable), she had it all.
Kylie was amazing but everything about her career seems irrelevant to Australia itself like Iggy.
And, like I said not long ago, I think Natalie and Rogue Traders did an amazing job for their few years. She had the potential for international success imo but as a solo artist she became mediocre like everyone else.
