Let me help you with that. BOMT was released in 1998 and Britney never performed the song on national TV since 2003. Guess what? It has 115 million views on YouTube and it remains the most iconic song from the 1990s.

Crazy in Love was released in 2003 (the last time Britney performed BOMT on TV). Beyonce performed the song countless times and most recently at the Superbowl in 2011. And it was watched by more than 110 million people but guess what? It only has 126 million views on YouTube.

They haven't influenced much and it doesn't matter how much her singles sold upon their release. Those sales don't make them memorable in 2014.

As far as the pre-2000s, we are talking about pure R&B music. R&B visibility is not as high as Pop visibility. We all know this. Also being an R&B artists with features is quite common. R&B and Hip Hop are married. They exist together. This "feature clockage" would only work if Beyonce was pure Pop.

Now my question for you is, since Britney is such an amazing artist with amazing singles, and just overall superiority, why is that she has less subscribers on her Youtube account? Is it that the GP are no longer checking for her anymore? I'm confused, I hope you can enlighten me on this.
