Well technically, Kris did something. There are so many sextape fads out there. Like who the **** is Ray J anyway? The only difference between them and the Kardashians is that Kris is a very smart businesswoman and knew what it would take to make Kim and the rest of the family A-list stars.
Yeah, that's why I put it in quotations. There's a lot of work and publicity and scheming that goes on behind the scenes that got them to where they are - it was probably a lot of work.
lol nobody knows them personally so everything we say is just speculation. What isn't speculation is that nobody in that family, except Rob, is lazy. They all work for their money, they all donate tons of money, they are NOT racist or homophobic like many other stars, they are NOT getting DUI's or getting sent to jail....
So where is the horrible part? Kris being a GOOD parent and making sure her kids work instead of just doing nothing (which they could've done with all the money they have) or the fact that they date around....you know, like any other human (except the fomos on here w/o lives).....
That is such a bare minimum I don't care about how they make money but their family dynamic is ****ed up to me. The way they talk to each other, the way they deal with things is not what I consider healthy. Like I said before, I don't care about them as business people or reality stars, but to say that they're a good family is a bit of a reach

**** like that happens all the time, it's really nothing. The girls are way too mature for their age anyway, they grew up famous after all....

Tell me what's wrong with it. Yes, he's 24, but so what? Like what actually is the issue with them being together (I know how old they are so don't give me their ages). She's almost 18, so I'm not seeing the issue. It's not as if she's some random teen girl from Idaho.
I am STRONGLY against major age differences when the youngest person is around 18, especially when it's literally illegal. There's just so much growing up and maturing that occurs at that time, it feels flat-out manipulative to me. But whatever, those are my morals and values. If you're okay with it more power to you. I also don't get what her being famous has to do with anything? How is their relationship any better than what you would see between a 20-something and some random girl in Idaho?

Kris has done well.
I quite like the Kardashians, and their show is one of only two reality shows I've ever enjoyed watching--the other being the Lauren Conrad seasons of The Hills. There's something vaguely comforting and empowering and essentially American about the shows, scripted and ridiculous as they may be. Crazy as it sounds, they make me want to go further in life and entertain me endlessly.
How exactly are they exploitative? What exactly are they exploiting? Yes, there was the sextape (released without Kimberly's consent) but other than that, ?????
I like Kris and Kim - tbh. They know the score. Other family members less so.

But who are you to classify what makes a healthy family and what doesn't? THEIR dynamic is just that -- THEIR dynamic. It's not gonna work for everyone or be seen normal to everyone. Just like yours most likely wouldn't be. And reality TV has been huge long enough for us to know a few things. Like the art of editing. Things will be dramatized to seem bigger than they are.

Because like Jennifer said, she's ahead of the average 17 year old. She's used to this type of life. These type of people. She and other famous people don't typically have the same pre-historic values most non-famous people have.

The fact that they got famous and extremely rich by "doing nothing" - which is what most people want anyways?
Exactly. People are just pressed that they got something that they don't. Maybe if they get their ass off the couch once in a while and did something with their lives, they could be a success too!

Their family dynamic is like that because they grew up as a huge blended family. It's not going to be your cookie cutter mom, dad, 3 kids and the dog dynamic....there's nothing wrong with it just because it's not what you grew up seeing in the media.
And her being famous has a lot to do with it because she has been exposed to so much more in life in all aspects (travel, culture, parties, business, etc) from such a young age, along with the fact that she's used to hanging out with older people b/c of the business. Kylie is not your typical 17 year old girl. She has seen the world already and lived a life more complex than 99% of teens. That's the difference.
You honestly just sound naive and very one dimensional and it probably has to do with the fact that you're still in HS.
You're really close minded We live in a generation more socially advanced than any generation before it. Lines begin to blur and the values that were once upon a time seen as the norm are starting to lose base. Especially for celebrities.
