I know for stans the seashell bikini is remembered but I don't think if you would show it to 10 random people on the street they would know this is Gaga.

I guess the winning formula is picking something distinctive, something ownable, something attractive and something people can imitate.
The Italian Curls wig is consistent, but it's really Cher...so seeing a drag queen wearing it (for instance) doesn't immediately say Gaga.
If the next album is pop/rock, then I definitely think she should be able to present a new, memorable look. For instance - what if she opts for the anti-Fame in the sense that she always has black hair, perhaps with the fringe and/or hairbow, and pairs a distinctive eye make up style with her septum piercing? She's done these things before, but only experts would remember because she hasn't really done it in major performances or videos...and even when she did, she immediately confused the look with 10 others.
That kind of goth-punk-glamour isn't strongly associated to one pop girl, so she could own it with consistency and appeal.
I thought it was the highest of the Year (together with JT) but that was probably before the other episodes aired ?
