Can't be, they changed the rules to stop pop artists snatching that award from Dance Artists after Rihanna and Lady Gaga took it back in 2010/11.

Walking on Air and Dark Horse came out before last year's nominations period, surprised they can be submitted tbh. I assumed that's what stopped ET from being nominated.

Doesn't matter. Voters have to listen to each song before submitting this year. Anyway, these were all my recs last month and was told they were all being submitted...if they cut more for Sam, I could see it being Cash Cash as they aren't affiliated. She's never had an issue w nominations. I'm just glad TIHWD wasn't a hit...might just work in her favor.

You can submit only once. And thanks to her status as the biggest pop star right now they won't care about any "moderate hits / underperformances" even if the songs are good. It's shady but understandable tbh.

So Legendary Lovers and other prism tracks can't be submitted for Grammys 2016 for example?
