I really wish Kesha did covers every now and then, its a simple way to give her talent more credibility and keep her name floating out there. And why does Kesha seem to be one of the only artists who are never featured on any other songs, we literally can go for more than a year without hearing Kesha's voice on a new song.

Random: Bonnie's lyrics on Afroki really hit me today. It's quite clear that she's reflecting on her own career and her feelings of being rejected and feeling like she wasn't good enough, but now she's not afraid of failure anymore and is ready to take control. Sad it took so long for her though, I really doubt she'll see much success now. The industry is so ageist it's unreal. Poor her.

Hope she works with Kesha on the new album again, C'Mon and Supernatural slay. But I doubt they will since Luke.

Is anyone hoping that the tone of this next record is darker and more introspective? I'd love to hear an underlying melancholy in her lyrics and melodies, as she has proven to be capable. I feel that we've been overexposed to one aspect of her writing.

Basically, more songs along the lines of "Dancing With Tears In My Eyes", "Hungover" and "Animal".

I used to hate John Newman but his vocals on Blame kind of slayed me so I want to give his album Tribute a chance. Also I'm warming up to Sam Smith and enjoy I'm Not The Only One despite not liking any of this other songs, may give his album a listen. Not usually into male vocals but these are OK.

Kesha seriously needs to do something with her life that involves music. Release a track. Release a mixtape. Put a 10-second snippet up on Soundcloud, something. Eh, I can wait. I've got Tove, Tinashe and Betty's albums to listen to a bit more still, and I'm still waiting on Charli, Cheryl (might as well give it a go) and Jessie's too. In for a fun November.

John Newman is trash. The intro of his album got me super pumped up when I listened to it for the first time but everything after was horrible

Safe With Me from the Nirvana EP is Sam Smiths best song. Not here for boring ballads. I don't think it's on his album tho? I've never been bothered to listen to it but I probz will eventually. It was a huge snub anyway. Could have been huge if released after Latch and La La La

I've had Betty's album sitting in my iTunes since it came out but I've still not listened to it since Tinashe has been taking up all my time.
