Love that the haters have continually doubted Katy. They said she would never play the Super Bowl and here she is. Now all they have to grasp onto is the Grammy's.
1. Dark Horse (Intro)
2. Part Of Me
3. E.T. (with Kanye West)
4. Teenage Dream/California Gurls [medley] (with Snoop Dogg)
5. Birthday
6. Walking On Air
7. I Kissed A Girl
8. Roar
The last song is generally the biggest hit (Here, I would say either Roar or Firework. But Roar as an ending wouldn't make much sense. It would be better as the opening of the show).
She should do something like:
Roar - California Gurls (a sexy performance, kind of. Not provocative, just a sexy one) - Hot ' n 'Cold - Her new single if there's any - Dark Horse - E.T. (ft. Kayne West) - Firework.
So glad I've been able to escape the bloodbath of WP's tonight. Such a mess.
Anyway, Katy stays winning. Poor haters etc. etc.
She'll keep on winning, 'til she dies. Katy and the Kats, will be slaying forever! She makes us, feel like we're still living in the 'Teenage Dream' era, the way she slays the world, I can't sleep, let's listen to Katy Perry and never look back, won't ever look back.
Do we really want her to follow Madonna's lead with the single?
nnn, GMAYL was a cute bop tho.
...
I think keeping a new song until the end could work. It'd build up the hype and suspense, keep people tuned in who were watching just to see if she would. And just when it appears to be over, BANG a new song. That could be kind of game-changing for her. Especially if she gets a longer set, she could make it a real moment. Like disappear and leave the stage and everything and then come flying back in on a helicopter and get lowered onto the stage again or something.
