It's so weird going from songs like Blow Me and True Love to this. Not weird as a bad thing though.
Also, it will be weird if she goes back to those songs again with her next pop record.

Basically neither of her albums sound the same. IND, FH and TTAL are pop but they are way different - so her next one will be as well. It can go into more electronic or dance but that would need another (better) producer to sound fresh or it can be totally different, maybe she will end up making her own folk/pop/rock album. She just needs to stay away from the noisy generic mess that is TTAL.

i don't think they were "way different". to me, they were actually quite similar to each other. not WOW THIS IS THE SAME SONG OVER AND OVER, but the overall albums were of the same batch kinda, if you know what i mean.
now, of course there were the odd-man-out songs and thematically they were surely different (sans the hate-you-love-you subject). the "difference" she delivered lies in CTMH, m!ss and TT tho.
i'm excited to see what the next album will be like. i hope rose ave. is a bridge to something different, keeping the tradition of 2000-2003 alive. i'm hoping for some real souly rock blues. something were the melodies linger on and on after you've heard them and after they've ripped your soul out plus, some nice funky tunes!

There were some same parts. There were acoustic songs, relatable ballads, up tempo **** you anthems, man-women fights on all albums.
Still, most of these songs are different no matter how much ATRL morons want to brag about it, except, as Grenno said, I love/hate you stuff. Althought, musically, I see no similarities between True Love and Leave Me Alone. There are many songs that stand out as unique and different on every album.
P!nk is, lyrically speaking, most diverse pop star. I feel that isn't theme she hasn't touched or talked about. Musically, not so much, but hey, no one's perfect.
She needs more people like Dallas, people that will bring something new. Also, I feel that she has full control on everything. Maybe it's better to be more flexible for the next time and accept some new ides.

They has pop core. But if you say they sound the same, then you should add M!ss there as well.
I think I'm Not Dead is her most diverse record, musically and lyrically. M!ss comes close. Funhouse has a more dark, moody and sad approach, plus some country here and there. TTAL is more electronic and less authentic but way more playful than the the other three. It has some really unique tracks as well (TTAL, WDTBG, C&P). She's a pop artist, of course her albums will have the same pop vibe but you can tell she's always evolving - sometimes to a direction we can't appreciate that much.

^ i don't really think m!ss could tho. sure, it has pop rock songs but overall it's more funk-infused. with TT it's more southern rock infused. with ind, fh and ttal they are avril/kelly poppyrock infused
honestly tho, i'm not trying to discredit her latest three records (all of her records have a pop core, she's a pop mainstream artist). they are wonderful and i count fh in my top 3 pink records (tho maybe rose ave. will take that place, only time will tell), but musically they haven't been all that. but i guess it's a matter of taste and i get that she got comfy (especially with fh). ttal was a wake-up call tho. it seems even for her.

We could argue about that but I know you LOVE it so much so it's pointless.

Yeah, that loveyou/hateyou songs are getting on my nerves, especially since TTAL. I feel like lyrically she's loosing her charm and variety. I don't know how to say this, Rose ave. has beautiful songs and I love it but emmmm I don't know, it kinda feels like every song is about the same thing, about struggling through love. And I can relate to that and she can descibe things so perfectly that I could never but before Funhouse we also got a lot of other topics. I miss those, I miss her talking about other than love.

I've always felt that JGMAR was very different from her past work. She has never released that type of song.

Me too. But, that's probably because of her life. She's married, has a child. She's surrounded with love.
P!nks non love songs were always better than her love songs, but that's maybe because of my personal interests.
Also, I was afraid there we're get more cliche love songs, but there are love songs on roseave. that can be interpreted in my ways. In a way that you want or like it. That's what I like most about this album.

We need to start promoting "Alecia Moore" and "You+Me" as seperate entities from "P!nk". Like make a thread saying "Alecia Moore shades pop girls" with a clip of where she was talking about not trying to be popular and how pop girls are so obsessed with staying popular, etc. Something like...
"Alecia Moore (aka P!nk, half of the new pop/folk duo You+Me) has recently thrown shade to other pop girls..."
Until she releases another "P!nk" album, we should all call her Alecia.
