Also, can I get a reason as to why I was banned from syg for abuse? I posted ONE thing about Islam and it was correcting someones post. Can I not say I love Bill Maher or something

Hello! I have a simple request. I need to become the OP of The ATRL Songwriter's Thread to keep it updated, as the original owner, Tymps., is going to be banned for nearly a year (due to self-request). He's actually a friend of mine, and he's given me permission to take ownership of the thread before, but there's been a spike in activity recently, and I'd like to update the thread.

The way I see it, if ATRL wants to survive, it needs to keep both the advertisers and members happy. I know that the mods always tell us they're making the site more strict in order to keep the advertisers happy and the cash flowing so they can maintain the website... But have y'all thought for just a moment that we, the members, are the target audience of those advertisers? Keep them happy by making the site more strict, sure, but that's gonna cause members to leave. Slowly, of course. We won't all leave at the same time. But one by one, some of us will leave until there's only a few members left. And when the site doesn't have that much activity anymore, those precious advertisers are going to leave as well. And then ATRL will be no more.

Of course, I could be wrong, seeing as how we're always told that there's so much going on behind the scenes that we are completely unaware of. But I just wanted to make sure y'all have thought about this - in case you haven't before.
