OUR WEAKEND-BEFORE-XMAS TOP 10 CHART PREVIEW:
Next week’s album chart may look something like this:
1. Taylor Swift (Big Machine), 340-355k
2. Keyshia Cole (Geffen debut), 300-315k
3. Jamie Foxx (J/RMG debut), 230-245k
4. Britney Spears (Jive/ZLG), 175-190k
4. Beyonce (Music World/Columbia), 175-190k
6. Nickelback (Roadrunner), 165-175k
7. Twilight (Chop Shop/Atlantic), 150-160k
8. AC/DC (Columbia), 140-150k
9. Fall Out Boy (Island/IDJ debut), 130-135k
10. Kanye West (Roc-A-Fella/IDJ), 125-130k
10. Now 29 (UMe), 125-130k
10. David Cook (19/RCA/RMG), 125-130k
10. Anthony Hamilton (LaFace/ZLG debut), 125-130k
Of course, with this being the last weekend before Christmas, these numbers are subject to change. And obviously Britney and Beyonce won’t both be #4, nor will we have four #10s. Ho, ho, ho. (12/19a)

All deserve the success except miss fierce. I gotta give Kanye credit, he does know how to churn hit after hit without fail. It's not an album I would consider getting anytime soon, but after all he's been through, I think he could sell at least a million overall with this CD.

Robocop should be Kanye's next single..but my favorite song on 808's is See You In My Knightmares (ironic, as I'm one of those "I still don't get how Lil Wayne is 2x platinum" haters). 808's biggest problem for me isn't that it's a bad album, because I do like it; but it's just that all the auto-tuning makes most of the songs seem to run together and sound sort of the same.
If HDD is predicting 175k - 190k for Britney then I will go on and predict 200k for her. They've been underpredicting Circus so far. And wow at Taylor...I can't stand her voice but I think she's an excellent songwriter. I hope she does outsell Lil' Wayne.

I'm glad Britney could reach 900k next week, but I hope her numbers won't plunge after that since sales are so low during January.
