!!! It's so apparent with all this self-sabotage that she's doing that she's either afraid of crazy success or she just really wants to focus on her family. Remember that interview where the guy said they had a plan for where she wanted to be in her career 15 years from now? Maybe she wants to go out not as a huge pop star with hits but as someone with quality and a little underrated. I can def see her going indie and becoming a hipster.

If you think Beyonce is going to have an album bigger than this right now, you're delusional. THIS was her chance to get her Thriller. THIS was the album that shook the world. Unless she dies while releasing, there's nothing she can possibly do to ever release an album that'll be talked about as much as BEYONCÉ.
Thriller kind of success is something you work for. It doesn't just come because you're Beyonce.

!!!! THIS was her chance to have a Thriller. ST was the biggest thing EVER when it first happened and you can tell by Bey's face at the premiere in NYC that she was stunned and scared straight by the success. This could have definitely been 21 level. But for whatever reason, she stopped it. I mean she's gotten TIME magazine, #1 on Forbes, a top tour all with this era. She is super successful and on top of the world right now. I also just don't remember an era when she was constantly in the media this much. It just seems like Bey is constantly a topic of discussion.
But this is also why I do think Bey could still have a Thriller era, but I think it would HAVE to be B6. I think the eras after that she will be too old to really slay like how I want her to slay- I'm talking singles, albums, magazines, tours, every award show, etc.
If she were to hype up the next album, I think it would work really well. The surprise was perfect was this era and has everyone wanting more after the excellent quality of the album. If she can hype up the next era (so there's this huge build up), actually promote, and deliver like a B'Day Part II but with some 4 level ballads/vocals-she will be golden.
