Yes. People have this idea that celebs should take all criticism and not care, but Nicki's not like that. If she doesn't want to be on good terms with that man after all the things he said about her work, she doesn't have to.

Who even mentioned me being blocked? Lmfao. I'm seeing my name mentioned a lot.
I was on vacation at the time of the incident.

Ikr A student dragged her for it after she caught another girl and ripped her book in front of her.
I wanted to do it too, cause I love arguing with people (as some of you here may know ) but I didn't want to ruin my relationship with her. So glad she was still making jokes with me and stuff after all that.
--------------
Flare: I saw that.
I like both you and Robbyyy but honestly you're not one to talk cause in most of your posts you're either shading someone, or disagreeing with someone. This must be common with high-level draggers tbh.
No tea no shade. I still love. (both of you)

I saw someone else mention it too so I decided to also do it. So sick of your "I don't care" attitude though.
And that point is irrelevant, no one cares if you were on vacation or not. Don't forget to buy The Pinkprint on Nov 24th.

Listen, I'm not going to argue all day about Nicki being sensitive because we ALL know she's sensitive. So let's just move on to something else.

That's not the same. My whole point about this is that we wouldn't know any details if he wouldn't have mentioned it. She felt a way (which is her right) and she still respected him enough to reach out privately. He, in return spoke out because that's what he does. Idk about you but if I discuss a problem I have with someone privately I would feel a way if they brought it up in ANY public manner.

But that's so immature. He didn't bash her personally, nor did he really bash Anaconda. He pretty much said that the song wasn't for him and voice his opinion what demographic he thought it was for.
I'm not saying that Nicki needs to ignore people disrespecting her. But in this case, I didn't feel he did anything wrong. If I remember correctly, you gave a very vivid opinion of the Anaconda cover and your distaste for it. If you voiced that same opinion on Twitter and she saw it, do you think that would have warranted a block and unfollow?

But he never said anything, that's the point. The worst things he has said is that Iggy should have won BET award and that he's not a fan of Anaconda (yet admitted it's just not his taste). Twitter Barbz ran with that and made him out to be some sort of "backstabber". Yet, they ignore when he calls Nicki the King of New York, or when he constantly praised every other song she's released this year.
We should stop talking about this, but at the end of the day, I just want Nicki to be back on TBC. I mean, it's the biggest show on the biggest hip-hop station in the world, so not returning is actually her loss.

I just want to know why it's always so heightened when Nicki does things. Rihanna has been unfollowing and or blocking fans for the past few weeks for asking when R8 is coming, and nobody makes a big deal of that.
Kendrick/TDE and many other artists have called into Power 105 to complain about criticism, and nobody says anything. Jay did the same with Hot 97, and yet he's a boss.
If I don't like what you're saying, I have a right to unfollow you on Twitter. Celebs have that same right, and if they want to block, than they could block.
I find that often times, people want to overcompensate their points just to seem "real" or delusional. Someone like Robby is passionate, and that's so respectable. However, you can't get angry at anyone pointing out your personality flaws (as Justin did), when you're pointing out Nicki's flaws as well.
Sometimes focusing on the positive can just make things better. Dwelling on an issue isn't the way, which is why I don't get mad at things easily. Hell, I wasn't even angry at Nicki for blocking me (meanwhile, there's stans that cuss out their faves after being blocked).
I think everyone should focus on the excitement of the album release, tbh.
Either way, back to work. Hope all is well and I hope I didn't offend anyone, because I can't be bothered to respond.

This reminds me of when she put out that blog pretty much saying that her fans only need to ride for her.

You only think she's sensitive because you EXPECT her to be PERFECT just because she's a celebrity. If I were in her position I would take every criticism to my work as a personal attack and I wouldn't talk to these people. Just the way it is. Nicki's not more sensitive than a regular person. Always so much criticism on celebs, please look into a mirror.

I'm trying to let go of this subject, & also try not to bring any bias into the equation. Which is why I never spoke on how I would handle the situation, because I would handle it differently, especially if it wasn't directed at me disrespectfully. I can take anything someone dishes at me, that I can dish out.
As an artist you have to expect some degree of criticism, that's just that. Be ready to take it, apply it or simply ignore it. I wouldn't cut someone off just because they disagree with some of my work, because I don't want a group of yes men around me, gassing all of my moves.

Which is why Twitter stans are the pits. Our faves really need to stop thinking a majority of them have their best interest at heart.
