She was a personal friend of Alexander Mcqueen, and a muse of his clothing before he died. She brought all this attention back to the Mugler house, which had been struggling, not to mention she wore almost every piece of the collection she WALKED in. She walked for Philip Tracy, whom she's also close with. She has been most recently Versace's muse appearing on their campaign. (you know the famous one, with the horrible outtakes) And she also got to wear like 3 of the signature pieces of a collection before anyone got their hands on it. (same night it debuted) And is a personal friend of Donatella.

And adding to the topic. Both Rihanna and Gaga are definitely the artists with most impact in fashion and haters can seethe.
