I liked most of Bionic and Lotus and I'd be here for it, but that wouldn't work out for her commercially. She needs to stay away from dance/EDM for her to make a comeback.

I agree with this completely. She needs a sound that is very different from dance/EDM if she wants to have success and/or acclaim with this next release.

A Tucson woman's fight against breast cancer, looking forward to October

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Sandra Beno-Butterbrodt was cheery, happy to talk and looking healthy this week, but about a year ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer.

"It feels like a death sentence, it really does," she said. "But as you embark on this journey, you realize that it really is not, or it doesn't have to be."

Once she found out, she became a fighter. Before her double mastectomy in December, she convinced her doctors to let her dance her stress away in the OR to Christina Aguilera's "Fighter". Her husband was holding her IV and nurses were jiving as well. She posted that video here on YouTube.

Now she is fighting to raise money for this year's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk.

"I want to raise $10,000 this year for my team," said Beno-Butterbrodt. Her team, Mommy's Warriors, raised the most money last year.

It benefits the American Cancer Society which funds programs which help patients fight the disease. Programs like the one which gave Beno-Butterbrodt her first wig.

"I went to the volunteer at the front desk and when I went to pay, she said, 'No you don't owe us anything, this is for you.'," Beno-Butterbrodt said.

She said she walked out in tears with her husband. Just trying on the different styles was one of the first times she had smiled since her diagnosis.

She had friends and mentors at her side along the way as well. When other women ask what they can do, Beno-Butterbrodt has a simple answer: "I say get a mammogram, set my mind at ease that you're not dealing with this too."

Donations help fund future research as well and help other women catch the disease earlier. That helps make more survivors like Sandra Beno-Butterbrodt.

But seriously, I hope she releases something in Q1 2015. It doesn't have to be the lead single. Maybe just a buzz song on Soundcloud or whatever. Rappers and r & b girls do it and the traditional release methods that pop girls use are dying anyway, much like the pop girls themselves, so why not adjust to the new generation? She needs some young people in her team
