She was clearly going to jump ship. She was clearly making her backup plans for when she left. She had no way of not knowing the repercussions on the SNSD brand, even if she departed amicably. Yes, SM's ultimatum (SNSD or her bargain bin fashion line) was too hasty but ultimately, that was a last chance attempt to pressure her into remaining with the group and securing the financial livelihood and future of the 8 other girls who rely on the SNSD name and don't have some CEO sugar daddy to rely on.

Her fashion line is not "bargain bin". Her sunglasses range starts at $250.
Why can't she have a business and do SNSD at the same time. All of her actions show that she was putting SNSD first. She postponed the BLANC launch party, and always attended SNSD events.
I could understand if she started missing events because of BLANC so the members got pissed, but she NEVER did.
Sunny has the closest links to SM, I think she wasn't happy about Sica's business either. I don't think they expected it to be a success and I think jealousy was involved as well.
Other SM acts have business and still promote in the group, doesn't Yesung have that WHY STYLE business? What's the difference?
