Chillin' With You, the first song I ever had to delete from Britney's discography, with a solid 8.
Don't Cry, pretty much a filler, higher than Til It's Gone (just have to reiterate that TIG was done wrong.)

I suppose there's less messiness in this review, but you still have some things to learn.  This album actually grew on me pretty well and I wasn't into certain songs, but then they eventually became great things I could put on repeat. I think my favorite song on the album changed about 3 times since its release.  Obviously, Til It's Gone is my favorite. The beat is just jaw-dropping and I can imagine a really slayful performance to it. The verses also have some very interesting lyrics and the whole atmosphere of the track is great. Passenger coming after it is just the icing on the cake, such a beautiful song and the last chorus slays my heart out. Now That I Found You being a 10 is good, it's pretty underrated and the beat makes you want to at least tap your feet while listening. |
Til It's Gone is kinda hard, on one hand I like it, the start is amazing but then once the first chorus finishes, it just seems a bit meh... There's nothing there. I had it as a 7 but kept changing it as I wasn't sure. I don't feel like it's one of the strongest.
Body Ache was another song I kept changing, but I thought about it and it just doesn't bring anything different to the album, if I had to choose either Til' It's Gone or Body Ache, I'd have to choose Til' It's Gone.
I know with the Chillin' With You track I'm in the minority however I love it, both of their voices merge well and it was a instant like for me.
I feel like Don't Cry was given a reasonable score, the lyrics and production sounds great and the Perfume remix is heavenly.
Overall a great album which many hate.
