I hope Gaga gets it, but I'm not getting my hopes up. She is already on track to double my expectations of sales (I thought she was going to do like 60k ) so I really can't complain. The #1 would be nice though. Maybe we can call the album Cheek1Cheek after that or something?

People in here say that it doesn't matter if she gets that number 1 or not but IT DOES, someone who brings that much media attention to herself would once again be attacked by the media for "flopping" "underperforming" etc. She was heavily attacked by the media last year so she kind of needs a break from bad press, gettin a Number 1 with a Jazz album(even if it's a shared effort) would definitevely help clean up her image a bit, so i agree using a part of her fan base to secure a number 1on BB that gives an album prestige is not something to be ashamed of.

Nobody does that when it came 2nd lol.

Personally to me it doesn't matter, she's so happy these days and I can tell she's in a better place now thanks to this so that's the win for me.

I think Gaga has wanted C2C to be #1 more than ARTPOP (and I have, too ).

I really hope she gets it. She needs a good break, and she's so happy right now. #1 would be icing on the cake for C2C.

We don't think the world will end if Gaga doesn't get #1, but people will certainly care.

The media (and headlines, where people get most of their info) would crucify her if she got a #3 album and only attribute it to her decline. ARTPOP went #1 and got dragged to hell and back for its sales. I can't even imagine the lashings it would have gotten if it had lost to Eminem and got #2, let alone #3.

Jazz collaboration album or not, the media will likely praise her if it gets #1 (and bring up positive reviews in articles) or drag her (and bring up reviews like the LA Times and Slant Magazine) if it gets #3.
