I might not be her biggest fan, but I really admire her. You can tell she loves her job, and she's not giving up. She's here to stay. Plus this 'Paradise' Christmas present thing is really nice of her
Thanks for the support sis There really are some nice Kats around here.
What do you think they'll submit for the Grammy's? I would seriously submit every one of these. It can't hurt, and the more that are submitted, the better her chances are, right?
Album of the Year: ARTPOP, Cheek to Cheek
Best Pop Solo Performance: Dope, Gypsy, Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)
Best Pop Duo/Group Performance: Do What U Want (ft. Christina Aguilera)
Best Pop Vocal Album: ARTPOP
Best Dance Recording: G.U.Y.
Best Dance/Electronica Album: ARTPOP
Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album: Cheek to Cheek
Best R&B Performance: Do What U Want (ft. R. Kelly)
Best R&B Song: Do What U Want (ft. R. Kelly)
Best Jazz Vocal Album: Cheek to Cheek
Best Music Video: G.U.Y.
Best Music Film: G.U.Y. - An ARTPOP Film ()
Cheek to Cheek will be Traditional Pop Vocal and AOTY most likely. Bang Bang will be Pop Solo. They may not even nominate ARTPOP at all, but if they do, it'll be Pop Vocal Album and maybe Pop Duo/Group for DWUW.

It's best to only submit one item per category, and only the ones that have a viable chance. It could split the votes otherwise. In fact, I would recommend that they submit only from C2C except for DWUW (feat. R. Kelly), which should be submitted for best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and ARTPOP for Best Pop Vocal Album (worth a shot  ).
If I were Interscope:
Album of the Year: Cheek to Cheek
Best Pop Solo Performance: Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down) (Live from Jazz at Lincoln Center)
Best Pop Duo/Group Performance: Do What U Want (feat. R. Kelly)
Best Pop Vocal Album: ARTPOP
Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album: Cheek to Cheek

I think that's what we should expect, as well.
I didn't even think about the vote split. Okay well then here's a slightly condensed version of what I would submit.

I still it's good to submit the others. It can't hurt, and you never know, she very well could win a few of them.
You do know the Grammys introduced a rule in late 2011 that made the mainstream pop girls ineligible to be nominated in the dance categories?
Don't forget the Best Album Packaging category. Lady Gaga and Jeff Koons - ARTPOP foil edition coming to snatch.
Yes, I remember. However, I don't remember the specifics of the rule, and since other award shows, such as the BBMA's, have nominated ARTPOP for best electronic album, I figured that perhaps the Grammys would too. I thought about that best packaging one as well, but I doubt it'll happen.

2011 Grammys, before the rule was introduced, was the last time a pop girl was nominated. The category is for lessor known EDM acts and mainstream successful DJs now.
France 2, French channel, (French promo yessssss ) is gonna broadcast an interview of Gaga & Tony on October 2.
YAAASSS. She looks so French there, too.
Can you find videos of it for us after it airs, or live streams?

That's true. Still would rather they submit R. Kelly's for Pop Duo/Group. He's more controversial, but his part is honestly what makes the song so good and smooth.

I thought about that, but dance/electronica is no longer really "in" or popular any more, which was why that rule was installed, and it's noticeably more dance-y than Gaga's previous releases, so it might have a shot.

Well then, looks like we qualify.

Oh and ARTPOP / Gaga was nominated for nothing at this years BBMAs. Where did you get that?
Can you find videos of it for us after it airs, or live streams?

dddd no, I'm not sure if you were just joking but it was instated so that actual producers and DJs would actually have a shot at winning because it is their only true category to win any grammy's really. And if the Grammy's are going to be taken seriously than the dance category needs to be a true dance category.

But actual producers and DJs were featured (or perhaps enlisted is the better term) on ARTPOP: Zedd, Madeon, and DJ White Shadow. (And Gaga herself on Venus. )

I was being facetious, yes.
If the Grammys wished to be taken seriously, they'd award based on more on merit than on popularity (and not nominate "Roar" for SOTY of all things ). However, the Grammys realize and I realize that that would make no one pay attention to them, and none of our faves would likely ever win, and probably barely get nominated (look at all of the pop albums by lesser-known artists in the 80's on Metacritic).

I just want a balance (and for my faves to win).
Ah okay. That was my initial thought
But I agree. I do think that they should be a bit more fair about the albums.
