As I said before when I was telling Solopop not to worry about Year 12 that much, it really doesn't matter what you get, because you can honestly do a bridging course into every university degree there is, or wait 3 years until you're 21 and you can apply as a mature-aged student.

What you'll find out (and very quickly I might add) upon entering the real world is that it's not just about what you know. It's about who you know. And who you know is way more important than what you know. Rich kids all have successful parents in high places who can hook them up with jobs in the country/world's best companies. Their parents and family friends help them get jobs in high places, and they help each other get jobs in high places.

Honestly, that's the best thing about private schools. Not facilities. Not teachers. Not technology. Not lesson plans. Not results. But the networks you make with your peers that last long after you leave. On top of that, there's a camaraderie and brotherhood/sisterhood between the people who went to those private schools. Even if you weren't in the same grade, or were never at the school at the same time, there's still a kinship there. People will be like "oh you went to **********? Did you know ***** *****? She went to *******!"

YOU'RE ALIVE. I have been wondering how you are coping with your HSC.

Do a short story about a child with divorced parents, with the dad focusing on the step mum etc etc. he feels alienated and his heart belongs somewhere else. Idk, thats what I would of done if my syllabus didn't change.

Do something that you can connect to.

Welp, I'm from a public school

I definitely see how private is better in terms of education and networks, I simply come from a family that is not financially able to have me privately educated. The only networks I'll gain from school are hookups for weed and party pills. I never realised how many of you were privately educated. That would explain why this is one of the few threads on here where an intelligent conversation can be discussed.

Yeah I've gone alright. Religion and art were good, the others were average.
But like our report's came out a couple of weeks ago and my decline in English is real cause like we get given our ranks in the course for each assessment. And I started out like 10th in the year and for trials I ended up 26th in the year
And for art, for every single assessment I was 2 me getting blocked like that

And business and maths

Yas good idea! Also if you can, just be continuously writing essays and creative's for your teacher - something I didn't do however, year 12 was probably my favourite year at school, because everyone gets closer in the year and stuff! So also have fun gaycat:

Queen Priya can not leave Cat seems endearing and really smart. If there's arguments in the future, I feel like she'd be able to articulate the thoughts of people who don't know how to communicate how they feel. And as much as I'm growing to dislike Katie, she's entertaining. She's not like someone like Ryan, who I'm not sure I've ever even seen on screen for more than 7-8 seconds.

Do I want to eye candy to stay, so I can ogle them, or do I want them to leave because they're boring af?

Oh god, I went so bad in my preliminary. English and Biology I SLAYED. Business omg, there was a question which told me to write a report which included "Establishment options" and I totally forgot about Est. Options so I wrote Legal Structures But I wasn't the only one thank god, the smartest kid in class did too The draggings I'll get from my business teachers. Legal Studies was.... Shameful. Just..... no words. Maths I only went terrible in because I came down with the flu the NIGHT BEFORE and I didn't get one bit of sleep so my eyes were bloodshot red + a runny nose.

like for my trials i got:
10/20 for MC ()
39/40 for Short Answers ()
12/20 for report ()
and 18/20 for essay (:*dancinggirlreddressemoji*)
and omg that's another thing for business. Read over the syllabus for like 5 minutes every 2 days or something! because i don't know what it's like for some of your subjects, but for mine, business is the only one which you basically need to learn the syllabus dot points for. because like, all the answers come straight from those annoying dot points, so it's really good to know it! and generally each point it pretty self explanatory so it's easy to elaborate.
yeah i've heard Legal is annoying. economics was sooooo bad for me, but luckily i changed courses from eco to business, so it's slightly better
