Hello ladies and gentleman. Here is my exclusive Gaga story:
Chapter I: The Airport
So, my story begins on Saturday the 20th of September, when Gaga posted a picture on Instagram that she was leaving for Belgium. The minute I saw it pop up, my heart sunk in the bottom of my Converse ‘All-Stars’. I didn’t know what to do. ‘Should I go to the airport or not?’ None of my friends wanted to join me. And so I thought, **** it, I’m gonna go to the airport. This is my shot.
So I drove to the airport of Brussels, I was really nervous.
After 15 minutes (around 6 pm) I arrived at the arrivals hall. There is only 1 in Brussels airport. I didn’t have a good feeling because I just knew it was impossible for her to arrive here with all the regular people. At the arrivals, I met 3 other Belgian Monsters, who where as desperate as I was. We didn’t know where to go or where to wait. We walked on and off, from the arrivals to the VIP parking lot. We also kept asking the lady at the info stand if there was some sort of private or VIP exit, but she kept saying no. We were also tweeting with another monster that was apparently at the correct place. He told us that she definitely was gonna arrive at that place. It took that ****ing heaux more than 2 HOURS !!1 ! to finally tweet the location. I thought it was really rude and selfish. We wasted 2 hours because this selfish little bottom fooled us. So when we got the location, the private airport of Brussels (side-eyeing that info lady so mad hard) we immediately took off. We were so scared because we had no idea when she was coming out.
So after only 5 minutes we were at the right location. There were 2 lines, 1 with 15 little monsters and 1 with press. So it was about 8 – 8:30 pm, when the 2 last monsters arrived. I had an instant connection. They where so sweet and kind. Not those flamboyant and arrogant type of monsters. So we immediately shared contacts. After waiting for another hour and a half, Gaga finally came out. I was in shock, but I was very calm. She walked for her life! So after meeting some monsters, it was my turn. I walked up to her and gave her a very big hug. She was so happy and calm and wrapped her hands around me! I then told her I have been a fan for such a long time and that the first time I saw her perform was in 2009 when she was opening for the Pussycat Dolls. She gasped and then smiled and said ‘We’ve came a long way. Things have changed’ and then we both started laughing. Then we posed for the gods, the fans and the press. In the rush of my adrenaline, I asked her if I could give her a kiss on the cheek, and she was ok, so I gave her a cute lil’ kiss! Then we hugged again before I left. (You can see us slaying in the gif !) As I was walking to the side she said, “Oh sweetie, you smell fabulous”
This was the day I have been dreaming of, and it came by surprise! I am so grateful. After 6 years of stanning, I finally did it!
Chapter II: The Cheek To Cheek concert
As you all know, Gaga & Tony were doing a Cheek To Cheek concert taping at The Grand Place in Brussels. I was so sad that I didn’t won tickets with that stupid contest. Winners would’ve been announced by Friday, and I didn’t receive any mail. But the Gods had other plans and the same day of the concert, I friend of mine received tickets to the C2C concert and she asked me to go with her because she knew I really wanted to go! I was so happy!
The concert was 1 hour instead of 30 minutes and the whole city was excited to welcome Gaga and Tony. They had been doing press earlier that day and they really slayed Belgium to the core. Everybody was loving them! It made me so happy.
I must say that I really love C2C, but oh my gawd, live, it’s even better. Gaga and Tony were magnificent! Gaga was so happy and full of life. Jazz really makes her the happiest and I could see and feel that. It’s been a long time since she had this joy. I was also surprised by Tony’s vocals. At one point, I really thought he was not gonna make it trough one of his notes!
I am really grateful that I was able to experience this and I’m looking forward to the full footage! Y’all are gonna be scalped.
Chapter III: The Rave
So the day after the C2C concert, It was rave day! I had LMZ and I arrived at noon at the venue in Antwerp. I was #72 in line. I waited for 3:30 hours when they finally started to give our bracelets. Then we had to wait in another line. It took forever. After waiting for another hour, they let us in, in small groups. Then we received our ticket and goodie bag. After that we had to line up once again, and waited for another hour. So it was 6:30 pm when they finally let us in, when I took my spot in front of the Venus bridge, the GA people where also inside, so the LMZ didn’t really got that early entry as the general people were entering at the same time.
Lady Starlight made me laugh so hard! She literally played the same beat for almost an hour like you guys have been saying. But she was enjoying herself so much! It was adorable! I decided to do something so I started shooting bubbles at her with my bubble gun! She was smiling so hard
The venue was PACKED, I would even say sold out. Everybody was energetic and excited for her to come one!
Then the goddess entered the stage and the party began. I can’t begin to explain how good the artRave is! It’s so energetic and fun. The stage is really stunning! Her vocals where on point and I went crazy when she sang You and I in full! I am so happy I have experienced this show with my best friend, who had never seen her live before! He got his life !
The artRave was perfect to end my Gaga experience! I am looking forward to the DVD and all the other things she+bobby have planned. Bobby is doing amazing things for her. He is incredible!
