I'm curious as to whether Taylor will find success worldwide. She hasn't really tried to go international, but with the success of her first two albums her labels going to probably try to shop her internationally. Love Story just entered Australia's top 100 last week so it should be interesting to see how she does.

Taylor's still a young singer and Britney's 27. Taylor really hasn't had a fair chance to do well WW since she only broke through last year, while Britney's had 8-10 years of doing that.

Quite frankly I am surprised Circus just sold 800k!
She used to sell at least double of her sales in the US. When Britney started she was like a goddess! With just an album people started calling her a pop princess.
Taylor sold couple of 10k outside the US. Besides, even if she goes international people wouldn't be so flattered by her, you do realize Country music sales comes 90% from the US even for European artists.

When is HITS going to update? I'm getting impatient, lol.
^^^EDIT: Do you have the stats for that? I wasn't aware that they had previously tried her WW. Country is hard to sell WW but she's crossover pop really. I mean they even made pop remixes of her songs and seeing as Miley who sings pop but has a much thicker country accent then Taylor has managed to do well outside of the US(especially in Australia) I think she might have a chance. It all depends on how they market her and whether they sell her original stuff or the pop mixes.

And for Flashin Lights, Shania is the best country WW seller but still  Not even double

Well Shania is a whole other story. She's probably the biggest country/pop crossover ever. But If I'm not mistaken Taylor's first week numbers were the highest for a female since Shania's Up! so who knows she might be following in her footsteps. Up!'s international version was a pop sort of remix so if they use Taylor's pop mixes of her songs they might be able to find some success. Chances are it won't be any where near Shania but it might be able to get close.

Up! sold 800k in the US only, and 130k outside the US (I think) which brings a total of 930k. Now Taylor wouldn't be able to reach 800k in the US.

Louie you're wrong. Up! sold 15 million worldwide I think that's more than half of what Baby One more time did. Her total WW sales are over 65 mil while Brit's are over 80. Obviously Britney has sold more but you're wrong to say that she's sold twice as much as Shania.
