See it for her in what? She has a much better chance at breaking into the mainstream than Banks, twigs and those others. Well, she has already.
Well I guess first of all that Banks and twigs clearly aren't trying to break into the mainstream, whereas Tinashe is working with DJ Mustard so I don't get why y'all keep putting her on the same plane as the alt-R&B girls. She may have had a bit of it on her mixtapes, but she's basically a more talented Cassie now. I don't think she's going to deliver a particularly high quality album because she'll be trying too hard to get hits for her label.
60% done with twigs album. It basically goes like this: twigs > Banks > Jhene
Twigs' stuff, though, is what critics tend to praise anyway. It's pretty predictable praise. None of these girls are as interesting or defining as Groove Theory, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, etc. when they debuted.

If you want defining, aesthetic music, then listen to this:
All of these alt-R&B girls are starting to sound alike, so I don't mind Tinashe straying away from that with her first LP. I do think she needs to still have a bit of that style on it, though.
