I'm meant to be studying but instead Im going to make descriptions of each song.
1987
The opening track to the album is more of a pastiche to Taylor Swifts track [1989] than a spoof of it. It features a lot of acoustic guitar and is described as a feel good song celebrating life and love.
Stay Gold
Stay Gold is an indie-pop record that bares similarities to Sia's 'Chandelier'. It is upbeat however features strong vocals in the chorus and a beautiful bridge featuring just Kesha and a Piano.
Home (Ft. Wrabel)
Home is another indie-pop influenced track however much darker than Stay Gold. It features a mixture of synths and guitars and a verse by singer/songwriter Wrabel.
Wildflower
Wildflower is an upbeat Hippy-esque pop track which features plenty of guitars, banjos, drums and a tamborine. The verses are fun and catchy leading up to an explosive chorus and a short banjo break featuring chanting.
Child Of The Moon
Child of the moon is a spooky Stevie Nick's inspired track and features a nothing but a piano and some out of this world synths.
Starlight Kisses
Starlight Kisses is a dance/pop track that features and space/sci-fi vibe throughout and acts as a part two to supernatural but this time is about making love with an alien.
Eaten Alive
Described as a tribal track, eaten alive echoes similar themes to her track 'Cannibal' as it warns boys not to cross with her, it features catchy verses and an explosive chorus.
Skeleton
Skeleton is a track in which Kesha describes a love that is no longer. It was solely written and produced by Kesha herself featuring just her vocals and a piano.
You Control My Heart
You Control My Heart is an alternative ballad-banger, featuring spooky verses which build up to the chorus, of which demonstrates Kesha's impressive vocals.
Boulevard (Ft. Calvin Harris)
The second of the two tracks released by Calvin and Kesha (the first one on motion), Boulevard is a folk infused dance track that features a lot acoustic guitar and huge chorus and dance break.
Hypnotize (Ft. Miley Cyrus and Iggy Azealia)
The most upbeat track on the album, Hypnotize reverses gender roles as the three pop princesses objectify men as objects of sex. The song features fast-paced verses, an extremely catchy chorus with heaps of claps and a saxophone fused dance break.
All That You Need
All That You Need is a mid-tempo indie-fused pop record, featuring the lyrics "I hope that screwing me over, and messing me around was, I hope it really was worth it, to crush what once was a true love". The song features an acoustic guitar, drums and a few synths.
While We're In Love
While we're in love is a country inspired dance track and is the sequel to Last Goodbye. It features a ukulele throughout with plenty of stomping, clapping and chanting.
House of Wolves
House of Wolves is the closer for the standard edition and features just Kesha vocals, a piano and a few synths. The lyrics and vocals are both breathtaking and out of this world.
