It was a snub and a major one. He had the commercial success and the acclaim. The album had a theme and it was well done. There are few bad songs but overall it was very solid.
I think he didn't get a nomination because his votes and Bruno Mars votes split. That would explain why they werent nominated.
But Justin acted like a 5 years old brat when he didn't get nominated for AOTY so Im happy he got snubbed.
If BEYONCÉ gets snubbed it will be a very bad thing for the Grammys and the Hive is going to ruin their twitter mentions and Facebook page. Her competitions this year would be PRISM and ARTPOP and we all know that they won't nominate those albums and leave BEYONCÉ out.
If BEYONCÉ doesn't get nominated, it will be a sad thing for American music but ATRL will rejoice and have a year long celebration.
I'm really confident about the nomination. Not so sure if it's gonna win though. Maybe they'll think that it's too explicit and jump on safer options like Sam Smith's album.

It's actually a good album. Comeback eras are not guaranteed to be a success. There are many examples of failed comebacks. The album has to be good.

Suppy is right. Pop radio was super negative for Blow so they requested XO since it is pop candy. It was the safer pick at that moment. Then Drunk took off and the rest is history...
