I loved her fashion during the Fame era.
The latex suits, the red/black or white hood, the disco stick, the 2/4 back up dancers.
She really made her small budget seem huge and grandiose.

The Fame was great, but Gaga had the fact that she was new and extremely different to everyone else going for her. She set herself up for TFM where she could literally do no wrong.

I love TF, but sometimes I think we'd bash a performance she did back then if she did it tomorrow for the first time because she just got so huge by 2010/2011 that nothing could ever live up...

The era changed the pop game forever though. If some of those performances were done tomorrow instead of years ago they would only seem weak cause she would be regressing to stuff that was fresh 5 years ago.

I think she set herself up for failure with that era though cause no one could be expected to top that continuously for years on end. The fact that she topped it so hard with TFM and again with BTW (at least music-wise) is amazing, and she lasted 5 years before she messed up hard.

I'm hoping her next era is a total reinvention and serves as The Fame era for the second part of her career.
