As fun as it would be for Taylor to get back to number 1 I seriously doubt it. They said when Beyonce's album first came out that it would be a three way race for #2 between Taylor, Nickelbac, and Cook and in the end Taylor came out 4th, so I wouldn't get too overexcited or depressed about first day estimates. We should wait until tomorrow when they make another prediction.
Sucks doesn't it? The single is becoming big but still not reflecting album sales much. I mean it has been increasing in sales but not as much as single sales. They need more promo to help them out.
Well, they're at #12 on the Heatseekers, so their album is selling; Just not a lot. I say give it a few more weeks.
at David higher than E=MCflop,Flopine, and soon to be Flophouse
Are u insane or blind? Who is no10??? Go and compare his 2nd week 66k with her 2n week, David Floppaleta.
BTW, congrats David Cook instead, higher than Hard Candy 1st week
I'm a fan of both so don't take this as a defense of one or a diss to the other...but would someone explain to me the big deal about Xtina's Greatest Hits album? I mean, it's JUST a greatest hits album. A huge GH album would be more of an exception than a rule, wouldn't it? I have never kept up with how GH albums do, I guess b/c of my own 'whatever' attitude about them. if I have a fave artist, I usually already have their albums so I am not wasting my money on a CD full of songs I already have. If there are a couple of new songs on the CD I just download those.
Personally I figured KGB was just Xtina's way of throwing out something to 'ease' her way back into the public's conscious/fill a time gap until she comes out with her fourth album next year. KGB isn't getting pushed for real and is only available in one store...now if it was a brand new album pulling those numbers right now I'd be like, DAMN Xtina is flopping hard. But for this, I don't see how anyone could care either way.
But then maybe GH albums are that a big a deal and I just never knew it. If so someone please clue me in. Otherwise I'm with Vithor on this one...nobody cares for real except haters. Save that vitriol for the real album release next summer, lol.
