That's not it, I was referring to the fact that he was online on ATRL when the challenge was posted as well as for the next 12 hours after that, so it's his own fault if he forgets to check the thread and gets eliminated.

I'm confused

I spend a lot of time making the challenges, so I appreciate when people actually attempt doing them! That's why I give incentives out for those who actually do the challenges. Often, it's immunity in the next round or a challenge advantage of some sort.

This statement is there because there are times when Element does a challenge and 5 people out of the 20ish people bother to participate in the challenge. Element might reward those who participated and tried to do the challenge even if the contestants might have not gotten the first spoon.

Everything is still the same, the challenge still will help one get the first spoon and upon completion of the challenge some how Element will declare someone the winner by letting them be the first to post "spoon" in this thread, this statement he made was just a notion to reward challenge participants even if they didn't win the challenge, thus reward those who are active in this game over the people not active in the game who just sit around or sleep (I guess) to just post spoon.
