I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version (I was so many updates behind). It runs a lot smoother now, and I like all of the new futures. It's becoming the game it should have been when it was released. I love that you can archive albums and clear tours to save loading time.
I'm playing on my original save (I'm in April 2019 in the game), but I'm probably going to erase and start over using the RL Mod update. My save has been corrupted for over a year in-game, and a handful of albums and singles have been selling the same amount for about 60 weeks.
I love the updates, and the RL mod is a lot of fun, but I hate that I'm 18 weeks into a game and NOBODY (except for my label) has released anything, and so the charts are extremely empty. I've heard of this happening, and artists charting weeks into a game, so we'll see.
EDIT: 26 weeks in and still no releases from any other label.
Finally, about 30 weeks into the game, other artists started releasing music. The game is a lot more fun now, especially with the new chart setups and whatnot. I like it! It's so much harder to get a #1 now, and artists rely heavily on media promotion now. I didn't promote Rihanna's latest single in America (ugh, that stupid wait time when using X Factor, The Voice, American Idol, etc) and it didn't even chart. Same with Beyonce, but they were top 3 everywhere else.
