I have reason to believe Beyonce buys her media presence, for the most part. My opinion, don't be bothered by it.
If P!nk cared to be a celebrity, she would be. But she has never wanted that. That's why she's always under the radar.
The sales speak for themselves, of course. P!nk has always said that she keeps the ticket prices as low as she can because she knows her fan base for the most part doesn't have money to burn. She looks out for the working class. If that weren't the case I'm sure The Truth About Love Tour would have grossed over 200 million.
As far as respect and acclaim go, I rarely if ever read anything negative about P!nk from a review of her albums or concerts. Comments by the "GP" on Twitter or Facebook are positive in the majority. The same can't be said for Beyonce. Even in real life when Beyonce is brought up, by me cuz I'm obsessed with pop culture like a good little gay, there's not always good things said. P!nk, once again is the opposite.
But those are opinions. The facts are that P!nk has stellar album sales, single sales, radio play and tour receipts. Beyonce only within the last year has pulled out some great touring numbers.
Also, you can't pull out DC numbers like they're Beyonce's. They're credited to the group and whether she was the lead act or not, she's simply not the sole reason for the success.
Beyonce. She's an icon and future legend, while Pink, as talented as she is, is just another artist in the crowd.
and Pink is NOT musically bigger either. her sales being bigger doesn't equate to this. Call me when Pink does anything even remotely as impactful as Single Ladies.
Bey. I actually do have respect for Pink's work ethic, but Beyonce has more impressive star power on stage and just walking down the street. Pink strikes me as more everyday, down-to- earth tbh.
