I think this is the first time (since possibly The Fame) that a Gaga album has gone live for purchase before leaking before-hand. BTW leaked over a week before it dropped and both ARTPOP and TFM leaked a few days before they dropped.

After listening to C2C, I'd be totally down for Gaga releasing some jazz-inspired pop, a la Back to Basics disc 2. Then again, I'm one of the few that stans for Teeth, so who knows how valid my opinion is

DAMN! The frustration of a disappointed Gaga stan... I understand, EnigmaPopstar is fun, she wears burqa for fashion, I really do. Especially after reading that last interview about her leaving pop or whatever (I was kinda angry, tbh). But I still wouldn't wish floppage (is this even a word?) upon Cheek 2/5 Cheek. I mean, sure she would scream "**** YOU JAZZ MUSIC! THIS IS CHEEK 2/5 CHEEK!" with Tony. But her overall MC score would go down too, and we don't really want that to happen.

Anyway, critics usually love/praise Gaga when she's crazy, not when she's classy. They loved the Swine performance at the SXSW festival, and that was during ARTPOP. Imagine if she did something amazingly crazy while promoting a TFM/BTW type of album. Now THAT would be a "We love her, again" moment!

I like Teeth too. I don't get the hate. That beat is amazing, I like that's it's Native American influenced, it's unique in that regard.
