Does updating to iOS 8 delete all my photos/music/etc.? Last year something wrong happened with my phone so I had to restore everything and I nearly cried. I don't even have enough memory on iCloud to store all my pics ugh.

When it first started downloading, it said 3 hours, then ten minutes later it said 47 minutes, and then five minutes later it went back to three hours.

I think Apple is pretty gracious. Even the iPad 2 gets this update and that thing is 3 years old.

The iPhone 4 just wouldn't be able to run this due to the simple fact that it does not have the 1gb ram which this iOS requires.

Seriously? Do you not understand that the 4 can't support iOS 8, and that's why it's not being released for it?

And it's not Apple's fault that you have a 4 year old phone, that's on you.

iOS 7 doesn't even work well with iPhone 4. iOS 8 would probably make it explode.
