Big Sean is good for features. He has decent solo songs too, but nothing worthwhile. I live for his verse on Clique- he's great at making "party" music and that's what he should stick to.

That's why I said lowkey. If he starts to come really hard on his own **** AND kills it with the features, he will be one of the defining rappers of this generation. He has a ton of potential. Not that he has much competition. Thankfully AUBRIH was there after like two years in the industry.

And no distributor bought it. She came to TIFF with no bra and tons of hype and PR stories about how she wore no makeup for the role but no one cared.

What's even sweeter is that Julianne Moore came to TIFF with no buzz or hype, premiered her movie on the same day as Aniston, and walked away with rave reviews and a great distributor.

The only thing Aniston will ever be good at is Rachel Green.

Aaliyah and Confessions are about an hour. Emancipation and Just Like You are under an hour. Pretty standard.

The Bodyguard - 12 tracks
Music Box - 10 tracks

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - 13 tracks


I mean y'all can find top selling albums from then that were long, that weren't Greatest Hits.

Most CD's that I owned when I was growing up had at least 15 songs. I remember being shocked/appauled when I started seeing albums with like 10 songs. Aside from the obvious exceptions like Thriller.

Most R Kelly albums, Aaliyah albums, Brandy albums, Mya, etc. had at least 15 songs at the least. Maybe I'm talking about just R&B? But I don't remember seeing short ass albums until I got older.

I feel as if I don't know where sean fits in. He's like the fabulous of this generation.
Between Kendrick(slight barf), Drake(), J. Cole, Schoolboy Q, etc I don't really see where Sean fits in.

The Bodyguard Soundtrack and Just Like You are about the same amount of time, though. lol

One just consists of tracks that stretch out to nearly five minutes a piece, while the other has an average time of 3 and a half minutes per track.
