Diplo was just interviewed on Zane Lowe's show on Radio 1. When asked about Madonna, he confirmed that they 'finished the single last week'.

There's no way they're waiting until 2015 to release the first single. I reckon it's coming in a month or so. Perhaps she'll release another single in early 2015 and then the album, or maybe the album IS coming this year after all.

Nope. Madonna doesn't work the same way Gaga does at all. When a song is done, it's done. She doesn't tinker around with songs for months and months.
