Japan is known for stanning girls with great vocals and talent. Fad music rarely ever trends/slays in Japan like it does in the McDonald's consuming Western Countries. Ariana Grande, Taylor, and Mariah have all been know to slay and dominate Japan...and Avril, too, allegedly. Is it safe to say that Japan has the best taste in music in the world?

Add white to that as well. I don't want to bring race into this, and I'm not trying to turn this into a racial debate, but objectively speaking, white artists have a lot more success in Japan/Asian markets than black artists. The proof is in the pudding. It's just a statistic that can't be denied.

edit: I'm not saying that black artists aren't successful in Japan/Asia. I'm just saying they don't seem to have as much success as white artists, and it's something I'm sure a lot of us have noticed. I'm not going in to why it might be. But, it is what it is

I don't agree with this because in Japan they have a boygroup with a black vocalist. That group is The Second from EXILE TRIBE.

I was going to include white but I didn't want to get into a race argument Japan is somewhat a more xenophobic country. Someone's going to use Mariah as a counterargument but she's considered white in Japan
