I used to HATE Hard Candy but guess what....it's actually a GREAT RECORD.



Screw those who think it's a trend chasing record. There's only like 3 songs that had the signature Timbaland urban beat circa 2007. THREE SONGS. The majority of Hard Candy is RETRO FUNKY POP, not the generic Timbaland ****



Candy Shop is raw and sexy and a perfect album intro
MY SUGAR IS RAW



4 Minutes had a crazy production and it was one of Timbaland's best productions. SUCKA!

Was revisiting Bedtime Stories lately and I really hope music journalists give it a proper tribute for its upcoming 20th anniversary. It's so crazy how modern and ahead of its time it was with the lush/dreamy soundscape themed R&B. Sounds like a fit for 2014 as much as 94 tbh esp tracks like Bedtime Story and Inside of Me

Bedtime Stories has some super creative ideas and some of her best tracks, but it gets put down because of "Take a Bow" (her most MOR single to date), the contemporary R'n'B influence and the fact that people saw it as a more consciously public-friendly attempt than Erotica.

It definitely was her most compromising album prob only second to Something to Remember because of the backlash but it's still great. It also has the unlucky sequence being sandwiched btwn. her best- Erotica and ROL.
